WHAT CAN YOU LEARN FROM BACON & EGGS?

 If  you read my book, THE RULE BREAKER, you will remember that I like meeting students, friends, associates, people who heard me speak at JUMPSTART or FastTrac over breakfast. Subjects range from mentoring students about their futures, discussions about existing start-up businesses but mostly about the viability of entrepreneurial ideas. .  The bouquet of fresh coffee, bacon …plus the relaxed atmosphere drew us to the meat of the meeting.     

 Always understanding my personal rules:  

1.     I don’t invest.

2.     I don’t join Boards or Advisory Committees.

3.     I take no money & breakfast is on me.

As I look back over 25 years of teaching I can’t help but wonder about the impact of these meetings.   Did they help? Beyond increasing my caloric intake.  I would be delighted to learn your take on those breakfasts?

The most effective way of doing that is to have another breakfast. And for those of you who were students, friends or members of JUMPSTART or FastTrac but didn’t have breakfast with me – now is your opportunity  – If you are not close to New York City – write me. *
